1-for-1 Kural 2025

The MNTS 1-for-1 Thirukural initiative combines cultural learning with community fundraising. Students learn and recite one couplet from the Thirukkural — the ancient Tamil classic by Thiruvalluvar — and sponsors pledge $1 per couplet recited. The program introduces students to one of Tamil literature’s greatest works while building recitation skills and a sense of cultural pride. Funds raised support MNTS school operations and programs.
About the Thirukkural
The Thirukkural is a collection of 1,330 couplets (kurals) on ethics, politics, and love, written by the Tamil poet Thiruvalluvar. It is one of the most celebrated works in world literature and a cornerstone of Tamil cultural identity.
