Assessment & Grading

MNTS uses IPA (Integrated Performance Assessment) across all levels — the gold standard in world-language education.

Assessment types

• Interpretive — reading and listening comprehension.
• Interpersonal — real-time spoken and written conversation.
• Presentational — prepared speeches, essays, and creative writing.

Grading scale

• Exceeds Expectations
• Meets Expectations Strongly
• Meets Expectations Minimally
• Does Not Meet Expectations

Assessments are conducted once per trimester for each LSRW skill and recorded in the LMS.
