MNTS Education Service Agency – Process Models
MNTS offers four delivery models to accommodate different school settings, technology access, and instructional preferences — from fully digital virtual classrooms to traditional paper-based instruction. Each model supports all ACTFL proficiency levels from Mazhalai (Pre-School) through Bilingual (Advanced Low).
Fully digital delivery via OpenLMS with authenticated teacher and student accounts. Supports complete LSRW tracking, gradebook, attendance, and built-in assessments for all 10 proficiency levels.
All instruction delivered online without printed materials. Supports both authenticated (full tracking) and guest access (independent practice). Applies to Mazhalai through Unit 18.
Teachers use digital content during in-person instruction. Students with or without full OpenLMS authentication can participate. Minimal printing for foundational levels only.
Complete printed textbook and homework booklets. No LMS required. Schools order materials via DocuCopies.com. LSRW assessments provided once per semester on request.
Most MNTS-affiliated schools use the Authenticated Open LMS Model for in-person classes. Virtual schools and online programs typically use the Digital Learning – Virtual model. The paper-based model is available for schools without reliable device access. Contact coursedirector@mntamilschool.org for guidance on which model fits your school.
