LSRW Curriculum Aid for Traditional Tamil Schools

This resource enables established Tamil schools and educators worldwide to use specific LSRW skills components from the MNTS syllabus — addressing the need for proficiency-aligned Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing instruction and preparing students for standardized assessments toward the Seal of Biliteracy in 49 of the 50 US states.

Scope

Over 300 Tamil schools across various US states and hundreds more internationally rely on traditional paper-based models. While these models effectively manage reading and writing, they lack digital solutions for listening and speaking instruction. MNTS LSRW Curriculum Aid fills that gap.

Four Skill Areas

Interpretive Listening
IPA (Integrated Performance Assessment) templates for Basic 3 through Units 1–18, incorporating authentic real-world audio and video examples.
