Tips for self-learners

  • Start at Year 1 (Mazhalai) if you're a complete beginner — even fluent speakers begin formal reading/writing from the basics.
  • Advanced speakers may start at Basic 3 or Intermediate Low after a placement self-check.
  • For progress tracking, adults and advanced learners can pursue the MN Bilingual Seal or Tamil Virtual Academy certifications — contact director@mntamilschool.org.
