Paper-Based Traditional Model
A full print model using physical Textbook and Homework booklets — for schools that prefer or require a traditional classroom without student devices.
MNTS supports the many Tamil schools that operate paper-based: all materials are available as printable booklets for in-person use — no internet or student devices required.
How it works
- Each semester has its own Textbook (instruction) and Homework Book (practice) — printed and distributed.
- All four LSRW skills are covered: Listening via YouTube videos (teacher plays on their device); Reading and Writing using printed materials.
- Students write homework by hand in printed homework booklets.
- Speaking: students record audio responses and send the files to the teacher for validation.
- Teachers manually review Listening, Reading, and Writing homework and give written feedback.
Printing your booklets
- Textbooks and Homework books can be printed via DocuCopies.com.
- Individual pages can also be browser-printed from OpenLMS (guest access).
- All curriculum PDFs are free at www.mntamilschool.org/curriculum/.
Assessment
- Teachers email coursedirector@mntamilschool.org to request LSRW assessments for any end-of-semester evaluation — shared once per semester per teacher.
