MNTS Tamil School has been Cognia (formerly AdvancED) accredited since January 2014 — one of the first Tamil schools in the US to earn this distinction. Our accreditation is searchable at home.cognia.org/registry.

- Tamil Virtual Academy (TVA), Chennai — authorized Minnesota Nodal Center.
- American Tamil Teachers Association (ATTA) — founding contributor to the Tamil National Standards.
- Minnesota Department of Education — Bilingual Seal Assessment Development Partner.
- Certificate of Appreciation from the Governor of Minnesota.
Proficiency & Standards
- Curriculum aligned to ACTFL proficiency levels (Novice Low – Advanced Low) and the Tamil National Standards (July 2022).
- 7 ACTFL-certified rater teachers across all four LSRW skills.
- 30+ teachers trained in Integrated Performance Assessment (IPA).
- 37 students from 7 districts have earned the MN Bilingual Seal for Tamil (2016–2022).
