The institution’s documented operating practices cultivate and set expectations for collegiality and collaboration. Professional staff members interact with respect and cooperation, learn from one another, and consider one another’s ideas. Professional staff members work together in self-formed or assigned groups to review information, identify common problems, and implement solutions on behalf of learners.
Evidence
Evidence 1: Level specific Teacher Collaboration WhatsApp groups been established across all branches where teachers exchange their experiences, best practices and initiatives with each other. Additionally, collaboration groups are active for all teachers by branch.
Evidence 2: School organizes all hands teacher meetings end of every semester, monthly meetings and special meetings for covering various aspects including feedback, assessment preparation, knowledge sharing, technology updates and process guidance etc. Meetings are recorded and shared with the teacher’s group for future reference. Evidence 3: The Professional development document (https://www.mntamilschool.org/professional-development/) describes the professional development efforts. These are administered both through formal modes like academic graduation, professional training, certification, induction etc.. and informal modes like knowledge sharing sessions and peer-peer collaborations. Focus groups projects on creating syllabus, assessments and LMS content are driven fully through Peer collaboration between teachers.
