Staff members demonstrate commitment to learners’ academic and non-academic needs and interests. The institution’s practices, processes, and decisions are documented, and are consistent with and based on its stated values.
Evidence
Evidence 1: All 10 Mission statements (https://www.mntamilschool.org/mission-vision/) which elaborates the primary purpose of fulfilling and advancing the learners academic goals. With this being a weekend school, every effort towards the non-academic aspects like events, competitions and projects would converge with the school’s academic objectives.
Evidence 2: The vision statement (https://www.mntamilschool.org/mission-vision/) furthers this commitment by stating “Our vision is continuing to improve the Tamil language education in the U.S. comparable to any other world language to make each heritage Tamil student and others to formally learn the language to sustain it beyond generations. Long term vision includes establishing Tamil immersion language public schools in the U.S.”
