Evidence 1: TEACHER QUALIFICATIONS / PLACEMENT / INDUCTION section of the Teachers handbook (https://www.mntamilschool.org/teachers-handbook/) expands further on the knowledge sharing, shadowing and peer collaborations are being discussed in detail. New teachers shadow the senior teachers to understand and familiarize on the process, syllabus, instruction methodology, assessment methodology and culture of learning. Also Syllabus committee consists of many teachers from all levels who have diversified skills and strong knowledge on the process, technology, learning and teaching aids. They collaborate with one another in building the learning content, review and refine it periodically. ELEOT observations were communicated to teachers for their understanding and improvement. Evidence 2: The teacher training (https://www.mntamilschool.org/professional-development/) details the professional development initiatives. The training covers various knowledge areas including language proficiency, Instruction methodology, curriculum, learning management system and technology infrastructure. The trainings and enablement are administered through various modes; academic graduation, professional training, certification, induction, knowledge sharing and collaboration. These programs are widespread all through the school year. The training and enablement plan has been devised inline to the professional development objectives and future facing road map the school has developed. The plan includes mandatory learnings and voluntary learnings. Overwhelming enrollment and participation on the voluntary trainings is a testament to their commitment to the professional development.
